Our creative workshops are some of the most popular here at The Pearl Exchange. Think of them as an art foundation course – without the £9000 fee – as we turn the Pitch and Putt building into an inspiring, creative hub. These classes and sessions are open to anyone, no matter whether you consider yourself to be creative or not, regardless of previous experience. It has been proven that engaging in artistic activities – painting, drawing, sewing, printmaking – is beneficial to your mental health and well-being. Come and join us for some relaxed arty sessions and make some masterpieces (or just hang out)!

Let your creativity flow with our super laid-back Arty Friday sessions. Screen print your own design on a tote bag or t-shirt, make clothes from scratch using our stock of fabulous second hand fabrics, or just come and hang out with other creative people! We’re here to provide guidance if you need, helping you with the printing set up or threading a sewing machine. We’ve got all the materials you need – as well as tea, biscuits and tunes!

Life Drawing
Develop your drawing skills with our monthly life drawing classes. This is an informal, judgement-free workshop for all abilities, from ‘I can’t draw a stick figure!’ to fully fledged artists, with optional guidance provided. Necessary materials provided, but feel free to bring your own!
