Therapy can give the tools needed to overcome grief, anxiety, depression and low self confidence. Help reengage you with positive future and help explore the internal and external resources you need to reignite hope and optimism.
Our mission is to give the Pearl Exchange community a chance to be heard and to give support through difficult times in people's lives.
I am a registered counsellor with experience in counselling, mentoring and pastoral care. It’s a safe, confidential place where you can talk through anything that concerns you such as things which feel confusing, painful, or uncomfortable in your life. It is also a process which helps you to separate the strands of your difficulty, enabling you to recognise more clearly the meaning that these have for you and the choices that you have to bring about change.
Claire GarrettLife Coach & Mentor
I am a Life, Career and Leadership Coach (retired), since 2010 I have been mentoring young people,. A Coach listens, supports, asks questions, some quite challenging, to assist you in finding your own path. Coaching and Mentoring are neither Counselling nor Therapy but can work alongside both to help you to step forward into your life with more confidence and direction.
Let’s face it this journey we call ‘life’ can be a real struggle at times, with many things thrown at us, especially hard if we have a head/mind which has a tendency to negativity, low mood, anxiety and/or low self-esteem. I am an experienced counsellor (15 years & BACP accredited) working with both adults and young people aged 11 and above. My aim is to help you to help yourself; together, we will work on recognising your issues and patterns. I will not tell you what to do, instead I aim to empower you and illuminate possible changes you may wish to make and the steps you could take. Often with a focus on self-compassion & self-soothing.
Lucilla Spencer PhillipsTherapist
I am a fully qualified and registered Arts Therapist with many years experience of working with young people. This will be a confidential space where you can talk things through, or we can use art materials to look at what is going on in your life. You do not need any skill to use the materials, but they can provide different ways of looking at and exploring problems and expressing feelings when words are hard.
My name is Jo. I'm easy going, straight talking and definitely not your 'average' counsellor. So if you have ever wanted to try it out I would be happy to chat. I live in Bude and spend a lot of time at The Haven, helping people manage the stresses life brings, what ever they may be, in what ever way that works for them.
