Whether you’re an absolute beginner or seasoned bedroom DJ, playing for your own enjoyment or trying to get gigs we’ve got you covered. With a network of local DJ’s covering all genres, and industry standard DJ equipment to practice on you’ll be upping your DJ game in no time!
We’ve got the decks and plenty of records – just bring a USB stick and any of your favourite vinyl.
The programme will include:
– Bi-weekly coaching and tuition in digital and vinyl mixing
– Techniques on how best to find, organize and play music
– Coaching on how to sell yourself as a freelance DJ
– Skills in how to design and curate a music event
– Skills in how to market and promote a music event
– Hands on experience of planning and running an event
– Real life experience of playing for an audience
All sessions at The Pearl Exchange are free for 18-35 year olds in Cornwall & Devon.
