THE PITCH & PUTT BUILDING A TEMPORARY HOME
The Pearl Exchange Taster week in October and the 8 week Pilot Project in spring 2021 will be located at the Pitch & Putt building in Bude.
There will not be any parking available at the site, except for 1 disabled parking space, however there is a Cornwall Council car park located at Crooklets beach, just a short walk away.
The Pitch & Putt building is fully accessible, with toilet and handwashing facilities.
There will be limited internet access available for workshops and classes.
All equipment and materials will be provided for workshops and classes, unless otherwise stated on the event listing.
There will be a converted shipping container on site to house some of the workshops and classes, plus a separate, private counselling Space for 1-1 and small group support sessions. Upon arrival at the event, please go to the front entrance to the Pitch & Putt building which will be our main reception area for us to sign you in and let you know where to go.
We will provide hand sanitizer in accordance with Covid 19 guidelines and expect attendees to adhere to Social Distancing guidance if still in place. If Govt restrictions change due to Covid 19, we will endeavour to host all programmed events online, although please be flexible with us as we may need to make occasional changes.
OUR FUTURE VISION
Studio space, hot desking, printing carousel, dark room, photoshop, sound equipment curated library, therapy space and more. The Pearl Exchange will offer studio & workshop space.
Our aim is to offer open access to resources and equipment. Some studios will be rented permanently via our membership scheme and some will be available on a pay-as-you-go basis. In most cases, to use our facilities without having a permanent space, you will need to register and reserve a morning or afternoon. We will also offer courses, resources and support to professional practitioners,practicing artists,creative start ups and individuals and any young adults interested through the Exchange & Memberships.
