Creative Writing Workshop

Join author Sam Horton for a monthly writing evening. We’ll use creative writing prompts, exercises and games to develop skills and confidence in writing each session. This is a welcoming, relaxed space to have fun whilst building your craft, open to all abilities.

Stuck on an idea or story point? In need of the perfect word? Let the group help! Writing can be a lonely business, come and create with us.

Sam was shortlisted for the Bridport flash fiction prize in 2020, Highly Commended for the Hammond House International Short Story Prize in whose anthology he was published. His debut novel Gorse will be published in September 2024.

All sessions at The Pearl Exchange are free for 18-35 year olds in Cornwall & Devon.
