Group Therapy
Group Therapy at The Pearl Exchange offers a calm and welcoming space to create trusting connections with people, find common ground and feel valued and supported amidst the challenges of living with life’s uncertainties.
Sharing our innermost feelings with strangers can be daunting and yet sharing our vulnerability is mutually beneficial, helping others to touch on feelings and experiences that may be hard for us to identify and articulate. In turn we may resonate more deeply with ourselves, feeling less alone and isolated than before.
The aims of group therapy are to help you develop confidence and resources, working together, cultivating self awareness and understanding of your lived experiences. Sessions involve creative approaches to challenge core beliefs and habits, support authentic communication in relationship with an awareness of our interconnectedness with our wider communities.
With an ethos of kindness and respect, as a group we offer a reciprocal exchange so we may each feel heard and seen without judgement, accepted as we are in all the messiness and unpredictability we present.
Led by Naomi, these free sessions aim to offer the experience of working therapeutically, combining pair work and time for individual reflections within the group. As a trauma informed therapist, Naomi invites the group to explore their diverse issues, both current and historic, underpinned with appropriate and relevant approaches that support your personal journey and development.
Sessions can be attended as a whole block or as stand alone sessions. If you’d like more information please get in touch.
